Basil is an HCPC-licensed biomedical scientist with a master of public health (MPH) and an MBA in sustainability, currently pursuing an MSc in global healthcare management. His background spans clinical laboratory practice and public health, with a growing focus on implementation research and health system strengthening.
Basil’s work and academic interests centre on sustainable healthcare systems, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. He is interested in how data, policy, and innovation can be integrated to improve healthcare delivery while ensuring long-term environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
Through the 51±¬ÁÏÍø internship, Basil aims to deepen his understanding of health data science, gain hands-on research experience, and contribute to advancing resilient and sustainable healthcare systems.
